Michael Shaw Fisher is an award-winning composer, lyricist, and book-writer for his original musicals, as well as a novelist, playwright, screenwriter, and recovering poet. He can sometimes even be tracked down to perform as well, so we can add actor to the list. He has attended NYU’s Tisch Program, the British American Dramatic Academy in Oxford, San Francisco State University to which he received his BA, and USC’s School of Cinematic Arts where he received his MFA in Writing for Screen and Television. He has been the Artistic Director of the Orgasmico Theatre Company since 2011, and his works have been produced in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Salem Massachusetts, Long Beach, and New York City. He’s also currently a screenwriting professor at the Los Angeles Film School.
